It is never too soon to start developing new team members. Followership training is designed to set expectations for new team members and begin their development as leaders. Main ideas include:

- How to find your role.
- How to grow in your role and prepare for the next step.
- What are doing to make the organization better
–To be a great leader, you first have to be a great follower
- Every leader is a follower as well (everyone has a boss)
- You have to know how to follow instructions so you can give them
–Trust your leadership
- They have a different point of view and more information to consider
- Don’t take it personally, they are NOT out to get you, there job is help organization, not you
–Know when and how to contribute your 2 cents
- Before a decision is make, you should feel free to contribute
- Once a decision is made, accept it and get to work to make it happen
